What better way to reunite with a friend than at Maginhawa street. I met up with my best friend from college I. to catch up on things.
The first stop of our Maginhawa adventure was Wicked Kitchen solely because of, what i think is their infamous dessert “Gluttony”. The interior of the place was very artsy like all the cafes at Maginhawa. The walls were full of quirky and fanicful letterings and quotes with decorative items, Even the bathroom.
When we were seated, We ordered the Gluttony Ala Mode, The serving was for 2-3 persons and we had to wait 20-30 minutes. Once it arrived, We immediately devoured it. It was topped with ice cream and whipped cream with marshmallows on the side while underneath it was the delicious chocolate chip. I love that it was freshly baked, chewy and moist, Definitely a sinfully tasting dessert. #GoodbyeDiet
We originally planned to go visit the Cat Cafe that was in the same building as Wicked Kitchen but since it needed reservation (which we didn’t know it had.) we decided to visit The Sweet Spot Cafe. Another cafe with an artsy interior seriously, I wish maginhawa was close to my neighborhood! I love the decor of the place especially the Doraemon and anime framed photo hanging on the wall. It was a nice place to relax from the daily grind and chat with your friends and the food was good too! I ordered the Southwestern Grilled Chicken Pasta while I. ordered a Strawberry Cobbler Smoothie.
What I definitely love about the place is the interior since i felt like i was in a different country. This cafe was the last stop of our Maginhawa adventure for the day and it definitely hit a sweet spot to our cravings!
