IT Cosmetics is recognised for their Your Skin But Better CC Cream and their Bye Bye Under Eye Cream. The CC Cream was all the hype in the beauty community last year and they just recently released their new IT Cosmetics – Your Skin But Better CC+.
Now ya’ll know if you read my previous blog post that I first fell in love with CC Cream’s because of the brand Erborian. So I thought why not try the sought after IT Cosmetics YSBB CC too?
I believe the previous version of the It Cosmetics CC Cream had only three shades before but now they’ve released 11 shades. I bought this at Sephora PH at around Php 2,560. Very pricey…so I’ll just use this when Chris Hemsworth comes to the Philippines. I kid. I use it but very sparingly like my life depends on it. 😅
Let’s see the description from Sephora PH’s website about this product:
Developed with plastic surgeons, this best-selling, award-winning beauty cream delivers clinically tested hydration while diffusing the appearance of skin imperfections for flawless-looking coverage that won’t crease or crack. Infused with hydrolysed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and vitamins, this multitasking makeup product is truly your must-have for instant complexion perfection. A CC cream that delivers 7 products, all in one! Full-coverage foundation. Brightening colour corrector. Hydrating and anti-aging serum. Poreless finish primer. Dark spot concealer. Moisturizing day cream.

Product and Packaging:
The actual product has a similar packaging as the Erborian’s only this comes in a pump type application and the thing I disliked about this is I had to pump out my life to get the product out.
ME:
What I also didn’t like about it is that, it feels like there’s little product in it. When I brought the packaging to light, like LITERALLY put it infront of the light to see how much full was the product inside. I saw that the product was only half-full. It says on the packaging that it’s 1.08 fl. oz. but it looked lesser than that.
ALSO ME:
But anyway, I guess that’s the downside of the product? I previously watched Jeffree Star’s review of the Full Face Using Only IT Cosmetics. (BTW, I also bought this because of Jeffree Starr. Big fan right here. 💖) Jeffree also commented about the amount of product inside only with a different product and also how the pump took ages to get the product out and the limited shade range. Well, it seems IT Cosmetics had taken note and now they have 11 shades.
OVERALL:
So what I love about the product:
- The SPF50+ – Honestly, usually products that has SPF50+ would smell like sunscreen but this didn’t.
- My skin looked poreless and flawless but of course you have to set it with a powder, I set mine with the L’Oreal Infalliable Pro-Matte Pressed Powder
- The Anti-aging benefits
- Full coverage, a little goes a long way.
- Helped brighten my skin
- Cons: Upon application, honestly I didn’t like how it felt on my skin as it had the feel of a foundation, too thick and heavy.
Repurchase?
No, it’s expensive but it’s expensive for a reason: Anti-aging. Products like this are good to use when you’re a Twenty-something individual to keep your skin looking youthful as you age. Its packed with skin-loving ingredients so it’s definitely a good investment actually but I just didn’t like the finish, I have a love and hate relationship with this product.
